Falls Run Community Association Minutes

October 26, 2011

Members Present: Amn, Balducci, Bernard, Brown, Foster, Owens, Thrash

Guest: Former Property Manager: Debbie Sutton

Meeting was called to order by President Dan Owens at 7:00 p.m.

President Owens announced that this is the last regular meeting of this Board and of this year.

The President announced that Ms. Sutton, who began her new position as General Manager with

another community was here tonight to say good-bye to Falls Run.

The President introduced, Mr. Ted Wessel, Falls Run's new General Manager, and Mr. Wessel

in turn introduced Ms. Brianna Lebel, the new administrative assistant.

The President asked Ms. Sutton to come forward, wished her well in her new position as General

Manager and present her a photograph of a beach scene as a departure present. Ms. Sutton

received a hearty round of applause and remained present for the duration of the meeting.

The President took a few minutes to review and explain the thinking and actions of the Board

during the last year respecting its actions to attempt to alter the structure and culture of operation

of the Board, the General Manager and all those elements necessary to effectively and efficiently

operate Falls Run.

Each member of the Board was asked to make a small statement stating her or his viewpoint

regarding the above.

Announcements:

The President announced that the November 16, 2011 meeting is cancelled and that the Falls Run

Annual Meeting will be on November 30,2011. Anew Board will convene in December.

Open Forum:

General comments pertaining to the operational changes and personnel change. During the

conversations, it was suggested that some improvement in message delivery of sensitive and

time-sensitive items is in order. The President acknowledged this and pledged that this will be an

item of discussion. There were expressions of support for the activities of the Activity Director

and a seeking of assurance that those activities will not be curtailed or diminished. A resident,

who had worked with Mr. Wessel in a previous work relationship expressed that the Board had

made an excellent decision in acquiring our new General Manager.

Minutes were approved for September 21 st, 22nd, 29th, October 4th and October 22, 2011.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 PM
