Minutes of the Meeting of the FRCA Board of Directors

January 18, 2012

The Falls Run Community Association, Inc.’s Board of Directors met on January 18, 2012 in a joint meeting with committee chairs.

The meeting was called to order at 1:00 PM by President Dan Owens.

Board members present: Dan Owens, Leonard Bogaev, Toni Brown, John Balducci, Nancy Arnn, Stephanie Mounts and Karl Kabza.

Committee members present: Tom Whalen, Dan Augustine, Casey Naatjes, Norm Kolb, Don McCreary, Marvin Wagner, Shirley Sommer, Susanne Lazanov, and Sandy Gaudet

Also attending: General Manager Ted Wessel and Doreen Barnes, Activities Director.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss various subjects. Covered were:

Discussion of revised charter and mission statements

Posting of committee meeting announcement, agenda and minutes

Role of general manager related to committees

Handling of crosscutting issues and projects between committees

Discuss board providing specific scope of work when assignment given to a Committee

Be sure Committee Chairs understand when they should get back with the Board before going any further.

Discussion of goal setting for 2012 and beyond

There were no motions made.

The meeting adjourned at 3:05 PM without objection.
