Lite Delights

Thursday • November 17 • 7pm (Note: Day change is for this month only.)

Our selection is Little Bee by Chris Cleave. According to The Washington Post, “Little Bee will blow you away…In restrained, diamond-hard prose, Cleave alternates between two characters’ points of view as he pulls the threads of their dark - but often funny - story tight. What unfolds between them... is both surprising and inevitable, thoroughly satisfying if also heartrending.” Contact: Nancy Behrmann (899-8952 or nnbehrmann@aol.com)

Book Discussion Group

Monday • November 21 • 7:30pm

Our selection is The Good Earth by Pearl Buck, a story of family life in a Chinese village before World War II. It was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for fiction in 1932. We will not meet in December because of the holidays. Contact: Bill Arnst (374-5566 or wfajda@aol.com)
