Community Center Committee meeting minutes November 11, 2008

Chairman Jo Schmidt called the meeting to order at 1 PM.

Members attending: Jo  Schmidt, George Malhiot, Kurt Schaffert, Rich Lazanov and Tom Bruns.  Also attending AD Ann Jones.

It is recommended that a white board be provided to record pool conditions for viewing by members.

Jo reviewed BOD decisions on our 2009 budget requests.

Indoor and outdoor pool contracts have been reviewed by committee members.  SOW has been forwarded to Property Manager for further handling.

The outdoor pool will open on May 23, 2009 and close on September 20, 2009.

There was a discussion regarding surveillance cameras with no determination reached.

The possibility of obtaining a scanner was discussed.  Rich will work with Ann to research equipment, cost and feasibility.

There will not be a meeting in December.  Next regular meeting will be January16, 2009 at 1 PM.
