Community Center Committee

A special meeting to consider a proposal from Schiller Enterprise Inc. was called to order by Chairman Art Gabler at 1 PM  Member attending were Art Gabler,  Jo Schmidt, Mary Owens and Tom Bruns.  Also attending were Activity Director Ann Jones and BoD members Dan Owens and Don Horan. 

Ann presented a proposal from Schiller Enterprise Inc. to construct cabinets and counter tops around the concierge desk.  This was to facilitate the new card reader equipment and to move audio equipment for a closet.

After discussion, the committee decided not to recommend action on the proposal, but to further explore our options for cost efficient options.  Mary, Jo and Ann will research other ways to meet our needs. This will be an agenda item for our next regularly scheduled meeting on October 16, 2009 at 1 PM.
