Community Center Committee

Community Center Committee meeting minutes 10/16, 2009

Meeting was called to order by Chairman Art Gabler at 1PM. Members attending were Art Gabler, Jo Schmidt, Mary Owens, Kurt Schaffert, Jackie Richards, Martha Poillon and Tom Bruns.  Also attending were BoD Directors Dan Owens, Don Horan, Tom Whalen & Jake Bernard.

Jackie Richards has resigned from the committee.  We thanked her for her service to the community.  Martha Poillon has joined the committee and we look forward to working with her. 

The minutes of the Sept. 18^th meeting and the Sept. 25^th special meeting were approved as written.

OLD BUSINESS:

The Community Center furniture inventory has been completed.  All of the inventories will be down loaded and stored off site.

Tom will review hazardous material inventory.

Tennis court sealing and striping on hold due to weather.

Bocce ball court repairs are included in the 2010 budget.

New umbrellas have been purchased.

NEW BUSINESS:

Ladies bath and outdoor pool mats slide when wet.  Will be replaced before pool opens for 2010.

Martha Poillon will work with a group of volunteers to maintain a safe and healthy environment at the outdoor pool during the 2010 season.
