Community Center Committee 11/18/09 meeting minutes

The meeting was called to order at 1 PM by Chairman Tom Bruns.

Members attending were Rich Lazanov, Kurt Schaffert, Bob Gilbert, Martha Poillon and Jo Schmidt.  Also attending were Ann Jones, Debbie Sutton and Don Horan.

Reading of the previous meetings was waived.

Old Business:

1.      Hazmat inventory – Tom is working on it.

2.     Ladies bathmats outdoors:  Martha will see that they are in place prior to opening of the outdoor pool.

3.     Outdoor pool volunteers: Martha will meet with ladies in Dec and create a schedule.

4.     Tennis court sealing: Done

New Business:

1.      Recumbent bike donation:  Ann will assess and determine.

2.     Cameras:  see what their capabilities are, decide where to place.

3.     Electric equipment ventilation: Joe and Kurt will investigate and make recommendation for 2011 budget request.

4.      Pool Table upgrades: Debbie and contractors will investigate.

5.     Termite Control:  Debbie will get back to BOD in February, committee will review options.

6.     Pool Contracts: Debbie and Kurt are collecting contracts from venders.

The next meeting will be December18 at 1 PM.
