Attendees: Bill Arnst, Dan Augustine, Len Godek,
Norm Kolb, Margie Kramer, Denzil Willis and Jack Mounts.
o Com Com reviewed and approved the draft
email to the Board of Directors presenting information on the Falls Run
Information System (FRIS) to answer questions that arose during the
discussion at the BOD working session, June 21. Some minor additions
were made to the FRIS Implementation Plan that was submitted also at that
Board meeting. If the FRIS is approved at the next BOD working
session.July 5, Com Com will schedule a meeting with Koger Management to
discuss its implementation.
o Com Com discussed at length various approaches to
the Communications media survey. Emphasis will be placed on obtaining
the most useful information, while keeping the survey simple to complete and
short enough to encourage response. The survey drafts presented by
Denzil and Jack were discussed. Jack will develop another draft,
incorporating approaches from both survey drafts and comments of the Com
Com. This revised survey will be presented for discussion at
the next Com Com meeting. The Com Com decided that the survey will be
tested with selected Falls Run residents for their comments prior to being
forwarded, for approval, to the Board and distributed with the
September Gazette. Falls Run residents will be asked to complete the
survey during the first two weeks of September.
o Com Com discussed the letter from
Tom Bovasso to the Board of Directors in which he recommended that all
sensitive and proprietary information relating to gates be removed from the
Falls Run Website. Dan A. will prepare a response representing Com Com
views to the letter. The response will be forwarded to the Board.
o The next Com Com meeting will be held July 14, 10
p.m. at the Rec Center. Future Com Com meetings will alternate between
day and night times to accommodate the needs of committee members.
