Modification Committee Meeting Minutes from November 14, 2007

Shirley Sommer conducted the meeting because our chairman, Robbin Sentell, was out of town.  All other committee members were present, as was Toni Brown, our BOD Liaison.  Sylva Southwell was on hand to clarify a few issues of concern but did not stay for the meeting.  No residents were in attendance.

Shirley distributed diagrams of the Solatube attic vent, which Robbin had made available online.  We agreed that this type of equipment is allowed (Architectural Guidelines, E.  Ancillary Equipment, 1, page 9) but that residents should be required to submit applications for approval before installing them.  Robbin Sentell will contact a resident to submit an application for the vent that is already installed.

Shirley made sure that all members have copies of the 10/9 Inspection Spreadsheet and reminded them that follow-up is being deferred until springtime due to the current drought conditions.
