Modifications Committee Meeting Minutes for 03/10/2010

The Modcom met on Wednesday, 03/10/2010, at 10am.  Members present were Nancy Arnn, Joan Bitely, Jim Eppes and Shirley Sommer.  Also present were Emery Dilda, liaison to the Villa BOD, Jake Bernard, liaison to the FRCABOD, and two residents whose applications were being reviewed (Mr. Von Colln and Mr. Busch).

Other Activity

At our meeting on 2/17/2010, we delayed a decision on the Devine application for a fish pond, pending updated information from the installer.  A new drawing was submitted and approved on 3/1/2010 by those members who were present at the initial review.

The Town Hall Meeting on Revised Design Guidelines on 2/17/2010 went well.  Our committee seemed well prepared to comment on the items discussed.  The FRCABOD meeting tonight and tomorrow will deal with issues that arose in the Town Hall Meeting.

The following have been added to the list of volunteer inspectors:  Mike Condon, Odie Hanscomb, Gary and Tooie Garber, Leonard Bogaev and Harry Charity.  We now have 15.

The 120 Day Letter has been submitted to the FRCABOD for approval and is on the agenda for 3/24/2010.

There was a discussion about starting our monthly meetings at 9:30am.  Everyone present was in agreement.  As long as the room is available and there are no other objections, we will start this with our April meeting.

Our next scheduled meeting will be on Wednesday, April 14, at 9:30am.
