Modifications Committee Meeting Minutes for 1/11/2012

The Mod Com met on Wednesday at 10 am.  Members present were:   Paul Niemi, Gary & Tooie Garber, Shirley Sommer, Tom Whalen and Betty Whiteaker.

Other Activity

We are concerned about the validity of AR11-02 but have received no response to Shirley’s email of 12/22/11.  She will follow up on this.

We were reminded that Article 1.24 of the Declaration states that this committee was established to review applications for modifications to Dwelling Units.

Members of the committee are opposed to conducting 120-day follow-ups to approved applications; nor do they feel it is proper for the Resale Inspectors to do so.  Enforcement is up to Management.

The new location on the FRCA website for Modcom applications is under FRCA Forms (formerly Documents).

Further revisions were made to the Short Form.  The finalized form will be emailed to members of the committee for approval before submission to the BOD.

AR09-09 is still in the process of being rewritten to address Violations Enforcement Policy.

It was agreed to abandon the “Did You Know” series in the Gazette.

The next regularly-scheduled meeting will be on 2/8/12 @ 10 am.
