OPENING MICROSOFT OFFICE 2007 FILES IN EARLIER VERSIONS

If you are like most of us at Falls Run, you resent spending money on newer versions of software when the older versions, which were not inexpensive, still do the job.

However, as more and more people acquire Office 2007, it becomes difficult for us to co-exist because earlier versions of Office will not open the new file formats that Office 2007 uses.  Microsoft has come up with a solution for this: they offer a download of a conversion program that once installed, will allow older versions of Microsoft Office to open files that are in Office 2007 format.

The conversion program works for: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and can be installed on computers that are using the Vista operating system, with or without Service Pack 1, and the XP operating system with Service Pack 1, 2 or 3.
