Committee Reports:

·   Roads, Sidewalks, Streetlights, Mailboxes

-Ken Burke and Woody Wilmoth looked at the newly painted trellises and stated that they thought the work was satisfactory.

-The expansion joints continue to be a concern and the committee looks forward to the repair work in the spring.  It is a concern that a harsh winter may cause further expansion and damage at the expansion joints.

-Ken Burke and Ann Graf will continue to be the snow contact when the property manager, Debbie Sutton, is off site.  They will meet with Debbie.

·   SWM Pond

-The slope around pond 4 may need one more cutting.

-Ken Burke continues to check, and keep a log of, pond drainage after a rainfall of one inch or more.  Pond 3, 4 and 4A  must drain within 48 hours of a rain storm.

-The three rivers area at pond 4 will be addressed by Pulte in the spring.  Although that pond has been released from bond, the County will hold Pulte responsible for any damage done to pond 4 when they perform the work needed to correct the problems with the three rivers area.

·    Grounds and Landscaping

-Beverly Iezzi has donated a bench that will be placed in the common area between 161 and 167 Smithfield.

-Some areas of the common ground look like they should receive one more cutting.  The property manager will be asked to look into this.

-Shenandoah has picked up some of the fallen leaves around the community.  Will there be another pickup this fall?  Many leaves still need to fall from the trees.

-Chuck Heath reported that Shenandoah is asking $70 - $80 to prune each tree.  Most, if not all, of the trees along the path and along Ripplemead and Smithfield can be pruned with a pole trimmer.  The community may look for volunteers who will prune the trees in the spring.  Another option is to ask Lin Bailey to prune the trees and ask the Board to authorize overtime for him.

-Shenandoah has begun installing the trees called for in the Master Plan, Package A.  Chuck Heath and John Lynch will observe the installation and check to see that the contract is fulfilled.

-Bill Spring will observe the installation of the replacement trees and check to see that the contract is fulfilled.

-Shenandoah will install the new and replacement shrubs around the Center the week of November 16.

-Chuck Heath and Bill Barnes will meet with Larry Wiltshire to discuss enhancing the area around the waterfall.
