1.  Budget for 2010  -  The following budget items will be presented to the Finance Committee:

The P & G Committee suggests that the following are recurring maintenance items and whose budgets should be established by the Board based on experience or the Mason and Mason report:

2.  SOW for Grounds Maintenance  -  Armstrong Management is sending the SOW to several contractors, including Shenandoah, Rankin, and the contractor that is maintaining the grounds at Celebrate.  Proposal are due back by July 31.

 

3.  Pond 4  -  Ken Burke noted that Pond 4 is draining slowly, and Debbie will have Lin clear that drain.

 

4.  Trees Installed in Fall 2009  -  Shenandoah will replace the trees they planted in the fall that are struggling or have died.  Chuck warns that no ash trees should be planted because of the Emerald Ash borer that is spreading toward Stafford County.  Also, Ken does not recommend the riverbed dirt that Shenandoah brought in to upgrade the Villa common ground.

 

3. Master Plan Phase 1 Selections for 2009  -  Franklin Buck, Emery Dilda, Ann Graf, Outi Hanscomb, Chuck Heath, Cindy Horan, John Lynch, Mary Owens, Tom Whalen and Don Horan inspected the areas of the common ground that are candidates for the fall installation of trees and shrubs under the Master Plan Phase 1 design.  A proposal will be presented to the Board by the end of August.
