·   Landscape Maintenance for 2010  -  Chuck Heath presented the process the sub-committee used to vet the competing landscape companies.  After the initial bid was made and reviewed, interviews with the viable landscape companies were held.  After the sub-committee made site inspections of properties the companies are currently maintaining, they were asked to submit additional information as well as a best and final bid.  The P and G Committee, after reviewing all the information, is prepared to make a recommendation to the Board on September 23.

·   Planting and Design Sub-Committee   -  Ann Graf reported that bees were a problem this summer around the outside pool.  Next spring the sub-committee will consider downsizing the number of large green flower pots, and/or selecting flowers that are less likely to draw bees.

Shenandoah has submitted a proposal for the fall installation of pansies.

It was decided that we would recommend that the proposal be accepted.

We will look at any trees or shrubs that need replacing.  They would be

covered under the Tree and Shrub Replacement fund in the 2009 budget.
