Villas Landscape Planning Committee Charter

The Villas Landscape Planning Committee (LandPlan) is responsible for developing a phased plan for the beautification and smart utilization of the Villas common areas.  The approved plan:  identifies common area ground affected; provides diagrams and descriptions of any plantings and/or inert materials to be used; recommends a time line for implementation considering cost of each phase; develops a plan to obtain resident donations; and identifies methods of communication for sharing information with members of the Association.

Ongoing functions of the Committee include:

·       Review and coordination of monetary and other contributions made by Villas residents in support of the approved landscaping plan to ensure the funds are used in accordance with the established plan guidelines;

·       Coordination with the Villas property management company to track donated funds received and expended;

·       Review of landscaping proposals made by Villas residents with recommendation to the VBOD for acceptance, modification, or denial of each proposal;

·       Coordination with the Villas property management company to obtain estimates and supervise installation of approved proposals;

·       Periodic examination of the new planting areas to ensure their continuing health;

·       Annual review of the approved plan with recommended changes and updates for the VBOD;

·       Coordination with the Villas Buildings and Grounds Committee.
